Trout Fever

The three-week Hwacheon Sancheoneo ('mountain trout') Ice Festival attracts millions of visitors annually to Hwacheon, South Korea, for activities and events that of course include ice-fishing competitions. Hwacheon is considered the first region of Korea that freezes over during winter and located just south of the demilitarized zone (DMZ) separating South Korea from North Korea. It’s great way to celebrate the wonders of winter.
